About Clinton AI
AI adoption, done properly.
Clinton AI is a Leeds-based consultancy. We run a one to two week AI Readiness Audit to find where AI genuinely helps your business, then build the systems it recommends, inside the tools your team already uses. You keep the code, the documentation, and the capability.
What we do
Clinton AI is the consultancy UK businesses come to for AI adoption. Sometimes you bring the idea, sometimes you bring the problem and we find the right idea. Either way, every engagement begins the same way: a 1 to 2 week AI Readiness Audit, then a fixed-scope build if it's worth building, handled by the same team that ran the audit.
We work in fixed scope and fixed price because we want every engagement to end with a working system, not an open-ended invoice. You own the code, the templates, and the data from day one.
Most of the systems we've built are still in production for their owners. That's the bar.
Why we exist
Human enablement, using AI
Every system we've shipped has taught us the same lesson: AI succeeds when it makes people more capable, and fails when it tries to replace them. That is the gap between AI investment and AI capability, and closing it is the whole reason Clinton AI exists.
Our mission
To help UK companies grow and stay ahead in the AI era by enabling their people: AI takes on the repetitive work, so teams can spend their time on the judgement, relationships, and decisions that actually move the business.
Our vision
A future where every organisation runs on capable people working with well-designed AI, where the technology multiplies what teams can do and the people stay in command of everything that matters.
The founder
A note from Clinton

Clinton Onyekwere
Founder, Clinton AI Ltd
I'm Clinton Onyekwere. I've been building AI systems for businesses since 2023, working on contract before I incorporated Clinton AI Ltd in February 2026 here in Leeds. Before that, I worked as a content developer for a strategy consultancy, which taught me how senior buyers read deliverables, and what makes them trust a system enough to put it in front of a board.
My background runs across full-stack engineering (Northcoders), an MSc in Management with a thesis on AI adoption (Leeds Beckett), and credentials in cloud and cybersecurity (University Academy 92). The mix matters: most AI builds fail because the engineering is decoupled from the business reality, and I've trained for both sides on purpose.
What working with us looks like
Once we start a build, the rhythm is simple:
- ·Weekly 30-minute check-in (Mondays)
- ·Small demos as we go, usually a working slice every 1 to 2 weeks
- ·Shared Slack channel, or whatever tool you already use
- ·No big-bang reveal at the end. By handover, you've already seen and signed off every piece.
What we don't do
We'd rather be clear about what we refuse than overpromise on what we offer.
- We don't take retainers from clients we haven't built for first.
- We don't sell PowerPoint as a substitute for working systems.
- We don't build things our team can't maintain after we hand them over.
- We don't ship AI without a review surface and an audit trail.
- We don't take projects we can't ship ourselves.
How we work
Operating principles
1.Evidence before narrative.
Every claim in every deliverable has a source. The audit trail is a system property, not a feature.
2.Working software, not slideware.
If it isn't running for real users, it doesn't exist.
3.Fixed scope, fixed price.
The deal is the deal. Scope creep is a us problem, not a you problem.
4.You own everything.
Source code, templates, the eval set, the design system. From the final invoice onwards, it's yours.
5.Human in the loop, by default.
Every system we ship has a place for a person to review, comment, and override before it touches a customer.
