About Clinton AI

A specialist AI product studio for startups and growing businesses

Startup founders with AI product ideas often can't find an engineer who takes full ownership and ships to production. That's the gap Clinton AI fills. Fixed scope, fixed price, full ownership, every system still running.

Founded in February 2026 in Leeds. 25 production AI systems delivered across 6 industries. We believe AI should help people do better work, not replace them, and every system we build is judged by that standard.

Meet the person behind Clinton AI

Clinton Onyekwere

Clinton Onyekwere

Founder, Clinton AI Ltd

I studied Management at Leeds Beckett University. My thesis focused on how organisations successfully adopt AI, which turned out to be more useful in practice than I expected. After that, Northcoders Full Stack Developer Bootcamp in Leeds, then Cloud and Cybersecurity at University Academy 92 in Manchester. That mix of business thinking and hands-on engineering is rare, and it shows up in every project.

I've designed and delivered production AI systems for clients across e-commerce, maritime procurement, education, sports analytics, enterprise research, and sales operations. 25+ projects so far. Every one shipped to production. Every one still running. Every client I've worked with has been happy with the result.

I founded Clinton AI Ltd in February 2026 to turn that experience into something repeatable. Fixed scope, fixed price, production AI systems built in weeks rather than months. I now run Katalyst (an AI product content platform for e-commerce) and a maritime procurement system in production, while working with startups and growing businesses on AI system builds and advisory work. Based in Leeds, registered in the UK (Company No. 17055092).

Our Values

What we stand for

These aren't marketing lines. They're the principles that guide every product we build and every project we take on.

AI That Creates Real Value

Every system we build must deliver measurable business value. We focus on outcomes that matter: reduced costs, faster delivery, better decisions, and competitive advantage for the organisations we work with.

Solve Real Problems

We start with real pain, real workflows, and real spending, not assumptions. Every product and system we build addresses a problem validated by people who experience it daily.

Production-Grade Engineering

Every system we build is designed for production: fault-tolerant, auditable, documented, and maintainable. We ship software that works reliably at scale, not prototypes that impress in demos.

Responsible Innovation

We build guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and validation layers into every AI system. When our outputs inform business decisions or reach end users, accuracy and reliability are not optional.

Truth Before Assumptions

We measure what matters: activation, retention, real usage. We ground every decision in evidence, real user behavior, real workflows, real outcomes, not vanity metrics or gut feelings.

Focus Beats Breadth

We win one use case deeply before expanding. One beachhead served well is worth more than ten segments served poorly. Clarity and depth create lasting competitive advantages.

How We Operate

10 principles that guide every decision

Informed by years of building production AI systems and the lessons of founders who came before us.

1

Clarity Before Scale

If a product is not clearly positioned, scaling wastes resources. We get the positioning right first.

2

Truth Before Assumptions

Real workflows and real spending tell the truth. Opinions and compliments do not.

3

Behavior Over Vanity

Activation and retention matter more than traffic and impressions. We measure what drives real outcomes.

4

Focus Beats Breadth

One segment served powerfully is worth more than ten segments served loosely.

5

One Workflow, Not Many Features

We replace fragmented workflows with unified, intelligent systems, not feature checklists.

6

Distribution Must Be Tested

We judge channels by user quality, not visibility. Every distribution assumption is tested, not guessed.

7

Price Around Value

Pricing reflects the value we replace and the outcomes we enable, not just the cost to build.

8

Build Around Outcomes

Every feature must improve a user outcome or a business outcome. If it does neither, it does not ship.

9

Build the Whole Product

Trust, usability, documentation, and proof matter as much as the core technology. The AI is only part of the product.

10

Founder Discipline

Clear thinking under pressure is the job. We face hard truths directly rather than hiding behind optimism or busyness.

Journey

How we got here

2024

MSc Management & Full Stack Developer Bootcamp

Graduated from Leeds Beckett University with an MSc in Management, focusing on AI adoption and digital transformation strategy. Completed Northcoders Full Stack Developer Bootcamp, gaining hands-on production experience with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

Early 2025

First Client Projects

Built a multi-model evaluation framework for an enterprise AI research platform serving PE and biotech clients. Led QA for a SaaS platform pre-launch, catching critical bugs and shaping its AI pricing model. Learned what production AI actually demands vs what a demo suggests.

Mid 2025

Rapid Growth Across Industries

Delivered 20+ projects across sports analytics, education, maritime procurement, and enterprise research. Built a reputation for production-grade AI systems that ship fast and keep running.

Late 2025

Shipping Across Domains

Built a Bloomberg-style AI sports prediction platform as sole engineer. Shipped a culturally accurate AI image pipeline for an education platform. Delivered a first-of-its-kind AI maritime procurement system. Each project deepened expertise in a different domain.

Feb 2026

Founded Clinton AI Ltd

Registered Clinton AI Ltd as a Private Limited Company in England & Wales (Company No. 17055092). Launched Katalyst, an AI product content platform for e-commerce sellers. Began productising our maritime procurement system.

2026 →

Building the Product Portfolio

Expanding from services to products. Katalyst and our maritime system live, ResearchMate in development. Publishing applied AI research based on production systems. Building a company that creates lasting value through AI.
